Zak is a avid disc golfer. He picked up his first disc in 

August of 2020, He began playing tournaments in 2022

playing in 8 tournaments his first year. His best finish was a 7th place while hitting a tournament ace in his second tournament ever. Zak than signed with Team Lonestar for the 2023 season. He has started a high-school club for a local high school he teaches and coaches at and is very active in the Disc Golf Community, actively contributes to the growth of the sport by giving away disc to anyone that is beginning to play. Zak is looking forward to playing at a high level as he continues to improve his game. His goals are to grow the sport among his students and family.
